Cursor Build Salaya Recap

Thank you for showing up and for what you made. Cursor is powerful, and the care people put into those projects still went further than we expected.

Clay holds about 70, and that is the number we planned for. Saturday turnout was nearly 95 percent of sign-ups, so the building had more people than seats.

That showed. A lot of people could not find a comfortable place to work. We split the day between upstairs and downstairs, so talks ran in two rooms at once and neither was quiet enough. Timing slipped. We dropped the popular vote, both because of time and because nobody had seen every project. We also had to pick six of the twenty-two teams early, to keep the afternoon moving. The wifi struggled too.

Clay were wonderful hosts, and glad to see that much energy in the space.

Next time everyone gets a proper place to work, even if the room fills up. Presentations stay in one room. The day stays casual. The schedule and the vote get planned properly. And the wifi works.
